Fauna DAO is a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO), utilising blockchain technology that autonomously collects transaction fees from its token’s buys and sells ($FAUNA), then directly funnels this money to animal welfare organisations selected and voted by token holders. Voting will take place via a peer-to-peer fundraising application (dApp) that only $FAUNA holders may access and cast their vote. 

We’ve positioned ourselves as a 1st mover for animals and have a very strong focus on the animal welfare industry. Our model is unique and simple, and we’d like to keep it that way for our investors; donations that go DIRECTLY to a cause, and not potentially lost to a small market cap project holders speculate will go up in value.

We believe that positioning, being a fundamental business strategy, is more important than ever in the crypto industry. If we don’t have a USP, or a clear value proposition for a clear target (investor) audience, we'll get lost in the sea of sameness. Animals have been neglected for too long. They don't have a voice, so we want to be their voice. There are plenty of causes and communities in the crypto world that already have a voice, but not enough that focus on animals exclusively.

You get taxed a percentage when you buy or sell $FAUNA, the donations percentage of that tax is what goes directly to helping animals in need. See the tax breakdown here.
